Abraham Lincoln was a tyrannical oppressor who waged war on his own country over a key human right, that of secession.

This country was born of secession from Great Britain and every sovereign human has the right to secede from anything they want. I have the right to secede from my job if I don’t like it, I have the right to secede from my family if I don’t like it etc. etc. When the South wanted to Secede from the Union, Lincoln took it upon himself to wage war, massacring hundreds of thousands of Americans in the process on the notion of “preserving the Union.” He had no intentions of freeing the slaves. The Civil War was unconstitutional, he suspended habeas corpus without Congressional approval, he incarcerated and deported members of Congress and the Supreme Court that question the legitimacy of his presidential power among many other atrocities.

I’m ashamed to share a birthday with Abraham Lincoln but I guess also sharing it with Charles Darwin is a bit of concession.
