The day a WET (white entertainment network) exists, we can talk about privledge. As it stands, if I or any other “white” person gets an award or is represented by an “all white” organization it is seen as racism/segragation in this country.

What this country needs is to make up it’s freaking mind. We have a few options when it comes to equality. We can allow all to be proud of their culture, and to accept it within society- but how would that work? What language would we use? What dress codes would apply? What holidays could be taken? We could continue to muddle through it by making acceptions based on whims and whining from various groups. Finally we can set some protocols, that everyone must reach for each position, privledge and opportunity and all must abide by them. This option however, lacks cultural/racial/religious freedom within public society. What do we do? I don’t know. Doesn’t seem to be a “fair” way out of this. All I know is that continuing to victimize ourselves or allow others too in order to get their way but in turn putting fear and obvious seperation between each other in order to show how important and special we all/each are is not a healthy and productive way to go.
